There are not undecided voters left, I would agree with that. But there are centrists, lots of us. There are also plenty of conservatives who are horrified. I'm conservative, have never voted for Trump. It's critical we all get behind whoever isn't MAGA.

Eh. Lived there my whole life, two years ago traded it for four seasons and a tiny, old, paid off house. Kinda liking that vibe, tbh.

I'm begging my fellow politicians, Illinoisans, and Americans to realize that right now, we aren't fighting over policy or political party.

We're fighting over whether we're going to be a country rooted in empathy and kindness — or one rooted in cruelty and rage.

I understand this in my core! I surely hate fascism, racism ... Pretty much all you think of when you think of him. But when any human being embodies so much evil, I have to think they have literally sold their soul. And that reminds me to pity them. (Not empathy, not compassion...pity.)

As an English Lit teacher for over 25 years? This does not surprise me one bit. A bright student can pick up digital literacy quickly, after they have learned foundational basic literacy with real books, real paper, and real pencils. Not the other way around.

And now... Congress must insist all that money rightfully go back. It will be a mess; it must be done and done quickly. Trump must not be allowed to use the profits from an unconstitutional power and money grab to bolster his own standings.

I did feel they bent over backwards to find a compromise. We all appreciate his cause, but what happens when someone equally as passionate wants to wear something offensive? This is why rules are in place.

I'd take that bet. His mother stripped him of titles and now his brother is clear in saying the law must take its course. I don't think anyone really wants to help him.

I'm so sorry this is behind a paywall. We need to confront the fact that when media with integrity put their work behind paywalls, while maga-media are free to read and see everything... That affects the news access of a big portion of our citizens. Including me.
