It's classist, truly. Sure, 70 or 73 may be fine for white collar workers who sit at a desk on a computer. But for blue-collar workers who lift and dig and build? They won't make it. My construction worker hubby
always planned on 70... But retired at 66 because his body just quit.

During a government shutdown, Congress shouldn’t get paid.

It’s completely unacceptable that members of Congress can force a government shutdown and cause 800,000+ workers lose paychecks, but then have their salaries exempt from that decision.

Have some integrity.

My kids' teen years were probably my favorite parenting stage. Lay out the big bucks to have plenty of food in the house at all times, become the gathering place. You'll never regret it
