It has started warming up here. I probably should start some seedlings soon. I think I'll probably do mostly cherry tomatoes in my garden since they seem to do the best in my space.

Thank you. I have lost a bit of weight, but I still have a ways to go.

The snow here didn't end up making much of an impact, but school was two hours late. Weirdly we're supposed to get up to the 70s by the weekend, which seems hard to believe.

Apparently we're in for more winter weather tonight. 🙄

I just realized I forgot to post our "Shirts of the Day" yesterday. This was what we wore Sunday to start our St. Patrick's Day countdown.

We're having a lazy day. I've mostly just been playing video games with the kids and my brother.

Thank goodness it's Friday. I'm ready for the weekend to get here. For some reason I've been itching to go thrift shopping. I miss the hunt for treasure, I guess.

This has felt like the longest week ever. At least I have the new Resident Evil game to look forward to this weekend.

The gym is busy tonight, especially for a Wednesday night.

The snow was a bust here. They canceled school prematurely, but I understand why they did because it seemed to start very strong. By morning the sidewalks were just dusted and the roads were clear.

Tonight I finished reading Curse of the Reaper by Brian McAuley. I enjoyed this horror novel, but not as much as others he's written. It had memorable main characters and a unique story. ⭐⭐⭐

The snow just started here. Our weather people seem unsure how much accumulation we'll get. It isn't sticking so far.

It sounds like we're in for more snow tomorrow night despite the fact it got to 50 degrees today. We got supplies today just in case. ❄️

I'm glad the weekend is finally here!

Unfortunately I think I'm getting a little sick. I'm feeling run down and very sneezy.

The gym was kind of empty tonight. It was nice not to wait on equipment. I do wish I had a friend to hang out with at the gym though. Unfortunately I'm too shy to talk to strangers.

I'm excited that the Silent Night Deadly Night remake came in the mail. I regret not seeing it in the theater, but at least I can see it any time I want now. It may snow this weekend, so I may pretend it's Christmas time and view it then.

We had a fairly warm day here. Most of the snow is finally gone!

Tonight I finished reading One Week to Win the Chocolate Maker by Timothy Janovsky. This was a very sweet romance novel that was perfect for Valentine's Day weekend. It was a fun reimagining of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for adults (but with no Oompa Loompas or child endangerment). ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a nice weekend. We went to the gym today and did some shopping.

My valentine gave me a pretty Web of Wyrd pendant and a moonstone ring for Valentine's Day. I love them both.

I was looking at my picture of the day and I'm really starting to look like my late father as I age.

This evening we had fun putting together Valentine cards for Carter's class. 💌

Tonight I finished reading Apparently, Sir Cameron Needs to Die by Greer Stothers. I enjoyed this humorous novel. It starts out as a fairy tale fantasy, but it gradually turns into a sci-fi story. The ending felt a bit rushed, but it was an overall very fun book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm not feeling my best today, but I managed an hour of cardio. I hope I'm not getting sick. I'm just feeling kind of run down.
