oh but i think i like the flavour of kabms where mithrun noticed kabru's attraction on him and tried to play innocent/unaware because he doesn't have any desire to act upon it (he actually does and want to see what reaction he'd get from kabru) and then mischief ensues..

i keep thinking ... how do you do mutual sexual tension between kbmith.? it would be mainly on kabru to bear the cross right ... and he'd feel so guilty all along too like damn that's my friend and i genuinely want to help him.. what if he takes me as someone who just wants to take advantage of him?

i'm also here to say i really love mithrun's expression when he's looking over his shoulder with half lidded eyes!!! his eyes speaks so much of his desire and kabru knows him so well by now that it only takd a single look shared between them and he knows what mithrun wants soooo lovely 💕

ughhh right??? you got me!! and i feel like with their situation, we can explore so many different possibilities and it would still be on brand to their character.. whether it's kabru holding back his desire in light of mithrun's own condition, afraid of crowding him and demanding too much too fast-

and mithrun, being very 'objective' in viewing himself would think 'why would someone as briliant as him fall for an invalid so long past their prime with a battered body like me' so they were both pining and it hurts and bittersweet and i like it

kabru would show the most obvious signs of having a big fat crush on mithrun, constantly tried to flirt with him, and mithrun would shrug it off as 'that's just how it is, he's kind to everyone.. also filtratious'

unlike popular belief, i kinda favour misunderstanding trope if done nicely.. and with kabmith it can just make sense when one's also exploring mithrun's insecurities towards his ownself, in my opinion
