This one is sold, but if you want to commission one (8 of pills, 7 or 10 etc) let me know. Same goes for the flies & cicadas. I haven't decided on the 4th suit yet. But it might be buttons.

Yeah, the Canadian Content rules of the 70's really began to pay off with a distinctly Canadian art scene. A reaction to living next to a cultural behemoth. It shows in the tv and movies at the time too.

Remember T's first term had a pill mill run out of the White House? I would be at all surprised if it is pervasive now.

Nash, The Spoons, Blue Peter, & Platinum Blonde were all on the same High School dance/college pub circuit in the early 80s, so I saw a lot of them.

He was part of my teen years. I saw him open for The Spoons at Ontario Place, '85ish? Dead Man's Curve was a regular at our dances.

I just finished watching Scream 4, next up Rob Zombie's Halloween remake.

Looking back at some older stuff & I can't believe this was only 5 years ago. Worth it to recognize that I'm a much better painter and artist now.

Yeah, the card thing was incidental to the death thing that began to happen as I was arranging their little corpses for the photo shoot, so it's open to interpretation. They could be read like tea leaves I suppose.
