Dozens of U.S. strikes on Iran. Dunno what to say now other than my thoughts are with the Iranian civilians under fire. What a nightmare.

I don't often say this about Missouri laws but I wouldn't have a problem with this being the rule nationwide.

Over 150 protesters waved signs outside the Sabey Corporation's headquarters Wednesday in Tukwila, where ICE has reportedly been considering leasing offices.

Idk what’s up w/kids these days, but damn.
My daughter is starting a new dance class, and she was really anxious waiting outside the studio. Some amazing kid just walked up to her and said “are you new? Are you feeling scared? Want to walk in with me?“
Well done parents you’re kids are great.

"abolish ice" does in fact require defunding the police because they are the same system causing harm.

ICE bad and also, around half of people killed by police have a disability. Their final moments are usually spent in frantic terror trying to "comply" with commands before cops shoot. Not opening a door or answering a question fast enough in this country can be a death sentence.

Constantly screaming into the abyss that ALL cops lie, all the time. They are allowed to. That is one of the reasons your local defense attorney says STFU.
Lying is like everything else with cops (homicide, assault, theft) if they do it to us, it's fine. But if we do it to them? It's a crime.
All law enforcement does this. They are legally allowed to lie (per SCOTUS) to us, but if we lie to them it's a crime.
In Seattle during CHOP cops made up false stories of armed Proud Boys coming up the hill in order to sow chaos and violence.
Not just ICE but ALL of law enforcement, from top to bottom, has been lying for decades
When I was an intern I remember fish and wildlife using a "ruse" to catch Laotian fisherman combining their squid catch into one bucket (which is, apparently, illegal) off the dock in Myrtle Edwards park.
Every stage of this process - his arrest, spending a year in jail, being dumped on the streets to die - would be deeply shameful in a society that actually valued human life.

Martin Luther King was assassinated in April 1968. Black Panther Bobby Hutton was killed two days later.
Shortly thereafter, the first Black Panthers chapter outside of California was founded in Seattle.
This is their story.
I support a nationwide database of misconduct, & I get that you’re hyping a list you want people to buy from you, but 1) the list youre charging $$ for is incomplete, and 2) you’re presenting an oversimplified understanding of what Brady material is and how it is used in lower courts.

It’s not incomplete for not mentioning a nationwide non-fed Brady List, which, btw does not exist.
A nationwide Brady list is a great idea. Agreed. But convictions wont be overturned “en masse” for violations because there is more to the analysis than whether Brady was violated or not.
So some jerk called the police, who just beat up a disabled Rohingya refugee instead of trying to communicate with him and then charged *him*. He probably thought he was getting jumped since he couldn’t see or understand the cops.
He survived a genocide and ending up getting murdered by CBP.
If you sic the cops on someone you had better be sure that you are ok with them killing that person or destroying their life. This is not our fault we are in this situation it is the fault of the cops. There should be options for people who are in danger that don't come with a possible execution.

25.02.2026 21:48 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The way Brady is catalogued and disclosed differs per jurisdiction (& sometimes per court.) This was not a fed cop but a local one, and there is no complete nationwide Brady List for local law enforcement (yet anyway.) This article is referencing a local practice, not a federal list.
25.02.2026 21:47 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0I know what the big list is. What I’m saying is that is specifically NOT what is being talked about here. in the local parlance—which is what is being used HERE—being “on the list” refers to (not to everything on the list you mention but) being on the “do not call cause the Brady is so bad” list.
