Temporary foreign workers pay provincial & federal taxes
Refugees who work (Most try and find work ASAP) pay taxes
Which means they are contributing to Alberta & Canada

One thing that has become obvious after budget day: govt finally has to admit how much they have BLOATED the HC admin!
Looks like it took AHS from about 3.5% admin costs to 6.7% admin costs (or more)!!!
That's INSANE!

Nice job. The coal mine settlements are a lot more than $80m. The two on which we have details (from Australian securities filings) are: Atrum $142.8 m and Montem/Evolve at $95 m for a total of $237.8 million. One other settlement still confidential and other claims pending.
