He's a shallow, glib person without any regard for the serious consequences of his lies, scams, and incompetence.

Trump attacks Iran while Congress is sleeping and the courts can’t do anything until Monday because he knows it’s illegal. It’s time for a third impeachment.

Watching Trump's speech justifying his attack on Iran is very similar to watching Putin justifying the invasion of Ukraine.

CNN's @natashabertrand.bsky.social reporting rumored rationale that Iran was about to strike us first, preemptively, is not accurate to US sources she's spoken with.

VERY important because that would be a reason to not go to Congress first - imminent threat to US forces.

"Maybe this is a good idea but Congress should vote to approve it" is, in this circumstance, an inferior position to "This is an absolutely ludicrous idea and Congress should have to vote on it so we can say hell no."

If the United States is going to go around the world causing regime changes, we should practice here first.

The US Constitution has a process for war. Schools are NEVER allowed to be bombed as enamy combatants. The US military who will bear the brunt of this fiasco deserve better. POTUS opened himself up to other countries assassinating him and urging the US people to engage in a regime change.

I know a lot of people are freaking out about an executive order about voting, so I will remind everyone:

1) It is very illegal and would not survive even this SCOTUS

2) If it happens anyway, it's strike/riot time because the democratic process is the only excuse for not having already done so.

Here we are watching military action unfold without a clear congressional vote.
If we are risking American lives and destabilizing an entire region, the American people deserve more than unilateral executive action.
The founders separated powers for a reason!
