So, the richest man in the world who spent $250 million to elect Trump wants to take away social programs that benefit seniors, children, the middle class, and the poor in order to further enrich himself?

Is that the plot? Did I get that right?

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I am thankful that my son is in 9th grade. We only have three more years to worry about. I’m also thankful for our purple state and hoping for a Dem governor in next year’s election.

I also work as a special education para-educator. Will my be position be affected? Thank God my daughter is a senior and will be going to a private college next year.

Who has kid(s) with IEPs and/or 504s? Who is anxious about the future of the Department of Education? I live in Virginia, which is purple in terms of our governor (currently Republican, but we get a new one next year) and legislature. My son is a 9th grader with an IEP. How can I prepare?

Hi! I’m Patti. I’m an ordained United Methodist minister. In 2020, I decided to take a leave of absence to focus on my family and my health. My current ministry setting is as a para-educator at a local middle school. I’m married to James and we have two teenagers and two dogs.

The only way I’ve gotten through “War and Peace”, “Crime and Punishment”, and several other classic novels is through listening to them.
