Even with written “exception” language, pregnant people with medical emergencies are often unable to receive care until they’re close enough to death that providers are finally permitted to proceed with treatment.

During our research with @Emory.rise, we heard from people about their experiences in navigating care under #HB481.

It's important for us to hear the stories and what the impacts are of people's unique experiences.
