It's almost 2 months post move. It's only now that im finally decorating my office again. It feels so much better, and im not even half done. At least i got my cork board up again because the memories on it are worth it.

alright, my specific brand of PCD tends to involve making things. So i own a ditto brand pattern projector now. Once i buy a new table to put it on im gonna finally finish this fullsuit.

Ah yes, the realization that I got home from FWA and took *checks Notes*
- 4 pictures of the drive to the con
- 3 pictures of the aquarium
- 2 pictures of cards/contact info

- 0 pictures of myself in suit whatsoever

I *really* gotta get better at remembering to take photos at cons

When playing a "new" game gives you an excuse to add more things to your fursona's already needlessly convoluted backstory.

I run a little sci-fi themed roleplaying server and a friend drew the character I made for the plot there. Meet Lumen, the explorer with a little too much ADHD.

Does anyone else end up trying to make a little more or backstory for their characters but end up changing it too many times?

Because let me tell you Tael's entire backstory is just decision paralysis or not wanting to be stuck with one pure canon

Okay I ended up liking the vibe of one of the sketches earlier too much so I sank full effort into it.

Moral of the story, if you're going to pick a fight with a fluffy space raptor, be prepared to deal with a whole lot of drones

Random sketch practice I did, trying to push myself not to focus on details for hours on end, and just move on. Also mostly practice for #Avali gestures and shaping.

Finished ref of a new character I worked on. Because mixing FFXIV and Pokemon seemed like a great idea. The laser edit of the action pose was fun to do as well

Spooky joyrides on "borrowed" hoverbikes are a very important part of October in Avali society... probably.

BlueSky is really different from Twitter so far but the biggest thing is not having two accounts and so just giving up on having a squeaky clean front page.

Thankfully the NSFW content being hidden is way more effective here so I don't feel bad about it.

The most recent art piece I did, FFXIV themed as that's what's consuming most of my time. Red Mage Avali seemed fitting, and the clothes were a huge learning curve

This one was just fun trying to make chibi versions of Tael and I was enjoying cult of the lamb.

This is the really fun one!

The first base ref I made for Tael, using a free online base, VS his current ref which I drew on my own. lots of changes along the way, including the destiny theming sticking there!

Tael doesnt have a pack, but he always has his ghost, Termina with him.

The very first "action" pose I drew, and like the second time I ever drew an #Avali, to the most recent action pose I did. I still havent quite figured out some of the shapes the right way but its come a long way for sure.

(its also fun to see the design change over time too!)

Posting old art time! This one was a ton of fun and a huge challenge at the time with the lighting. I didnt actually do the detail bits on the sides though, they were collaged in from the original image. I remember learning a lot from this one though!

I feel like Tael is a split because he would either get some horrendously complex turbo-shot with enough caffeine to kill a yak, or he would be the one to just straight up order chocolate milk!
