Iβm working to ensure that the State Department is using all resources at its disposal, including charter flights, to help Americans in the Middle East return home.
These issues were predictable, and the lack of clear preparation and communication to Americans abroad is unacceptable.
Committing American troops to war in Iran is a decision that should require serious deliberation and a vote by the peopleβs representatives.
I will support a War Powers resolution to restore the authority of Congress and prevent the President from entangling America into another endless war.
IMPORTANT: U.S. citizens in the Middle East should call 1-202-501-4444 for assistance with departure options, enroll in STEP in step.state.gov, and follow @travelgov for updates.
My office is available at 603-285-4300 for help.
Got a tour of upgrades at Manchesterβs Emergency Operations Center, which is improving public safety & supporting our first responders & law enforcement.
I helped secure federal funds for this through my officeβs community-driven process. Projects like this are how we ensure NH is safe and strong.

During National Public Schools Week, we celebrate New Hampshireβs vibrant public school system.
As a proud product of Manchester public schools, Iβll keep doing everything I can to support our students, schools, educators, and everything they do for NH communities, families, & children.
Tariffs are a tax that Americans are paying for every day.
Instead of allowing working families, seniors, and small businesses relief after his illegal tariffs were struck down by the Supreme Court, the President has chosen to put more taxes on the American people.
Today veterans won.
After push back from veterans, Veteran Service Organizations, and my colleagues and I, VA is not moving forward with their new disability ratings rule that would have weakened veteransβ benefits.
Iβll continue to fight for veterans and defend their earned benefits.
Sat down with NH community health center leaders to discuss ways to strengthen access to telehealth and support our essential health care workforce.
I was honored to receive their 2026 Distinguished Community Health Center Advocate Award. I'll keep working to protect and expand health care access.
We heard from more than 11,000 Granite Staters β over 90% of survey respondents β opposed to the taxpayer-funded ICE facility in Merrimack.
This plan has been stopped, and Iβll keep fighting to ensure local voices are heard and we get full transparency and accountability from this administration.
Thanks for stopping by my DC office and for all you do, Emily!
Emily is a Volunteer NH Program Officer. Volunteer NH aims to foster a strong spirit of public service in younger generations and improve the lives of Granite Staters through AmeriCorps and other opportunities.
Iβm grateful for all our food pantries do to serve people in need across the state.
As food insecurity remains a significant concern and rising costs for groceries are felt by too many, I met with food pantry directors in Carroll County to hear from those on the ground. Read about it. β¬οΈ
We must continue to strengthen and improve VA services for veterans, including dental care, and fight against efforts to dismantle the workforce and hurt veteransβ benefits.
Hear more from yesterdayβs joint hearing of the House & Senate Committees on Veteransβ Affairs. β¬οΈ
Met with the Winter family as part of the Alliance for Childhood Cancerβs Hill day. They shared their story with me about their son Jackβs battle with leukemia and the critical need for cancer research, support, and care.
Iβm grateful for their advocacy for all kids and families going through this.
I am bringing Hillsborough County Commissioner Toni Pappas as my SOTU guest.
Iβm working alongside Commissioner Pappas to safeguard our county nursing homes from cuts to Medicaid. Washington should follow NHβs lead in putting aside partisanship to work for the people.
(And no - weβre not related!)

Stopping this ICE facility was a grassroots effort headed by local leaders and Merrimack residents and strengthened by thousands of Granite Staters who made their voices heard.
Iβll continue to demand transparency & accountability from this administration and push back against overreach of power.
It is completely unacceptable for the Trump administration to bypass local leaders throughout this process.
Iβm working to require the federal government to get local approval before this or any similar proposal moves forward.

I met with Jen Goodale of MOAA to discuss my bipartisan GUARD VA Benefits Act, which will reinstate criminal penalties for unaccredited, predatory claim sharks that rip off veterans of their earned benefits under the guise of help.
Itβs my and their priority to get this commonsense bill passed.
I sat down with local health care leaders and advocates to talk about the importance of telehealth for families and providers in our state.
My bipartisan Protecting Rural Telehealth Access Act will help protect and strengthen telehealth access and services.
Great job all around by Team USA β itβs been incredible to watch!
And congratulations to New Hampshireβs Caroline Harvey on earning a gold medal at the Winter Olympics and being named MVP.

For weeks now my office has been hearing directly from thousands of Granite Staters about the proposed ICE facility in Merrimack.
I wanted to share a quick update and encourage you to keep making your voices heard. β¬οΈ
The Supreme Court ruling on President Trumpβs illegal tariffs is good news for the American people and small businesses who have been paying higher prices for groceries and everyday essentials.
This is an important step, and Iβll keep fighting to lower costs for Granite Staters.
We must expand affordable child care options to meet the needs of parents working all types of jobs and hours.
Iβve introduced a bipartisan bill to expand existing programs and encourage the establishment of new ones so that we can support working parents and strengthen our workforce and economy.
North Conwayβs Ridgeline Community will have affordable units, 55+ housing, assisted-living, and more. As we work to tackle the housing shortage, projects like this show us what can be accomplished when communities, government, and the private sector come together.

Stopped by the JFK Coliseum to get an update on the rinkβs chiller plant and switchgear upgrades. Working with the community, I secured these funds to ensure the rinkβs safe and sustainable operation for years to come.
It was also great to get out on the ice with community members!
As the Holy Month of Ramadan begins at sundown tonight, Iβm wishing our Muslim communities across the Granite State a month filled with prayer, reflection, and time spent with loved ones that brings you peace and joy.
Ramadan Mubarak!
Laced up the skates this morning to discuss federal funding I secured to upgrade the JFK Coliseum's chiller plant and switch gear. These upgrades will save taxpayer dollars and improve energy efficiency at the rink here in Manchester.
Thanks to everyone who came out to skate!
Addressing the shortage of affordable housing must be a top priority, and Iβm committed to finding common-sense solutions to increase supply and lower costs.
My bill would create a grant program to reduce building costs and speed up development.
