Being a psychologist was hard today. Never did I expect to spend the day supporting clients who have been sexually assaulted as they process a rapist being elected president of the United States. Twice.

Thrilled for New Brunswickers who decidedly told Higgs they won’t stand for his hateful & anti-science policies. Despite my 💜 for NB, one reason I didn’t return post-residency was his horrendous policies & lack of respect for psychologists. Excited to see what changes Holt will bring!

4 years ago today, the WHO declared COVID a pandemic.

Today, we will rightfully remember the tens of millions of people who have died.

We must never forget.

But we must also remember COVID is still killing, disabling, and excluding too many.

We are still in a pandemic. We still need to act.

Why wear a mask to a protest? Or: why spread illness when you could not do that?

It is so sad and concerning that Alberta has introduced harmful and ideological policies that are not supported by the evidence. This will hurt our most vulnerable and goes against the UN convention on the rights of the child, which Canada ratified in 1991. I will always Support Trans Kids.

Switching from a 3 hour round-trip commute to 100% remote work was the best decision I have ever made. Good for the planet and good for my own well-being. Plus, I get to wear sweatpants every day.
