There's a new timepiece in town! Rail Clock is a masterclass in meaningful simplicity.

It's not every day the railway gets a new clock - this is something very special.

Yes, work to be done in that area. What looks like it should be the least complicated area is actually quite complex geographically!

I'm quite proud of this one, so I've put together a few words to give you an idea of how it was developed 👇

With fantastic support from friends and colleagues who allowed/encouraged/prodded me behind the scenes, it's now been adopted by Northern and released into the wild - and will shortly be appearing in print at over 470 of Northern's stations across the North of England.

🗺️ A month or two ago, Northern quietly launched a new network map.

It started out as my personal pet project, born out of an ever-so-slight frustration that the existing map didn't actually show you where trains went. Which is sort of...fundamental, really.

Hands down, it's my favourite station. Blessed that I get to use it most days!
