I agree that assortative mating, population stratification, etc. has greatly influenced past findings.
You might enjoy the excellent substack on this subject by @sashagusevposts.bsky.social , here: theinfinitesimal.substack.com/p/how-popula...

I agree that she is an amazing artist & kind that you say it! But I don't agree the @dr-appie.bsky.social et al paper is 'bad science'. We argue that social structural factors, like environment, families, assortative mating & population stratification ARE important AND impact estimates.
