Since Oath And Honor is cited as “the story that EVERY American should know,” I will do my best to make it accessible to as many people as possible by reading the entire book, catching you up on the important figures, doing breakdowns on the terminology used, and providing historical context.

Literacy and education keeps us sharp on what the government is trying to do— that’s exactly why there are banned book lists, defunding of academic institutions, and efforts to dismantle the Dept. of Education.

On my YouTube Channel, XO, Simone, I have unpacked Chapter 1 of #OathAndHonor with not only an analysis on who Liz Cheney is, but with a full reading of the chapter, and I’ll do the same with every chapter of the book.

With the 2026 #Midterms approaching and 468 Congressional seats up, it is important for us to know how our representatives and administration have already committed treason and are likely willing to kill.

I originally started reading Oath And Honor on my TikTok, xo, Simone, and soon realized 10 minutes is NOT enough time to unpack the terror of January 6 and how many elected officials helped in the process and are STILL holding Congressional seats.

#JasmineCrockett has been under fire a LOT lately for how she is choosing to speak about the current administration as many believe she is “inciting violence.”

All of that brought me back to #LizCheney Oath And Honor, a book showing how actual dangerous rhetoric incited violence.

Mind you…Chloe literally treated Max like the scum of the earth for going to school & clearly had a better relationship with Rachel but we’re supposed to feel compelled to save her in the end? TUH.

Like outside of the time-warp powers— it was truly such a painfully unrealistic game regarding relationships and expectations between characters. It was very hard to root for characters that required sympathy for plot development.

Chloe was honestly such an insufferable character. The dialogue is extremely dated (like Max’s “are you cereal” remarks, etc.) and it was incredibly dramatic for NO reason.
