If the last few years you made a joke about traders being addicts, I would laugh. I had zero issue scaling back my trading 99%, to only the big opps.

Over the year, I’ve tried to go from 99% to 100% and can’t describe how incredibly difficult it is for me.

For whatever reason, these posts always tend to trigger a crowd of trolls that say something to the effect of:

“BUT BUT… HINDSIGHT!”

A great best practice that I would do at the end of each year is to create a folder with all the top charts from the year.

Those databases are priceless over time.

One of the biggest trends I see accelerating is the increase of 24/7 trading. There is no stopping it. Within a few years I see most products being 24/7. Likely at the cost of health and well-being for traders.

People overly worry on Twitter thinking what they do is special and that it will all be gone in a blink, while forgetting the near-infinite pool of other market participants out there.

ROUTINES & DEEP WORK

The best routines prob have 2 things in common:
1 They involve the deep mentally draining analysis that we often try to avoid.
2 You put thought in to make sure your effort is going into the areas offering the highest ROI for your trading.
