I'm working on slowly getting back into the art scene. I'm not gonna sweat it if I miss deadlines because, hey, I'm still kind of in survival mode. But I'm working on that too. Just taking it one day at a time right now.

At the beginning of 2025, I wanted to apply to more art shows and make more art. And then shitty shitty life stuff happened, so I wasn't able to fulfill that goal.

I'll still finish this illustration because I like the concept and it's looking cool. And I'm going to start working on a ceramic piece for a show in January.

I'm not going to get my piece done in time for the deadline for the show tomorrow. But you know what? That's okay. I have 3 other pieces I've made in the past I'll try to submit.

Also I had forgotten Emmet's name, so I started calling him Duke. Multiple times throughout the movie, I was like, "I miss Duke." and, "If Duke was here..."

watched new moon yesterday

Uggghhhhh these movies are BAD. I laughed so hard for a good portion of the movie. We also had to rewind multiple times because the dualogue just didn't make any sense.

I am both excited and dreading watching the next one.

I'm happy to finally be back in a place in my life where I want to create art. Anyway, there are 4 art shows I'm going to try to submit to.

The deadline for one is next week. I have literally 5 days to get the piece done. uhhh wish me luck.

Faire is over and I am home. I had a lovely weekend with my byz and my crew. My birthday weekend was very special.

I also think that I bring the rain, because this is now the second faire that I've camped that has poured down rain for two days in a row.

Woww I stared at this for such a long time. His expression, the shadow! The reflection in his eyes is also a really nice detail.

Thinking about it, Emmet and Jasper are the only characters I care about. Jasper is weird and wants to eat people. And Emmet is just a bro who is happy to be included. I think they're hilarious.

I've just been saying "skin of a killah bella" in a really gravelly weird voice and now I'm laughing. Twilight, but instead of vampires... they're goblins.

Oh Jasper's O_O face makes me laugh every time he's on screen. Dude looks like he's holding in the biggest fart.
