It's up to us now, as best we can, to carry on the struggle, you me and that kid on the train helping the arc of history bend toward Justice.

While waiting I noticed a younger black man waiting to do the same thing, I decided my well wishes could wait and let the young man have the moment. It was something to see, Jesse gave the young man a few minutes asked him about his struggles.

Some time around 2005 I was on the train at the Atlanta airport along with Rev. Jesse Jackson and others. Rev Jesse was talking with a member of his party, and I was waiting for them to finish to say something like "good morning appreciate all you do"

Texas is in early spring now for sure, our peach tree seems to be leading the charge, most hopeful of the fruit bearing trees.

I'm seeing an uncomfortable number of posts to the effect of: Democrats aren't doing enough to earn my vote". While I vote my heart in the primary, I'm all about doing what I can to prevent oligarchy in the general.

I don't know the exact location of my goal, but that's not usually necessary. As long as I'm headed in more or less the right direction, I can always fill in specifics later, as I get closer and see better, and I myself change.
