In two decades, presidents will screw up and they’ll become major scandals, and people will say “Imagine if Trump did this!” to reminisce about a time when half the country wouldn’t have cared.

Trump sees his job as “which guy I kill?” and then to peace out like Leonard Nimoy after escaping a runaway monorail.

This “take over your government” stuff is going to be how Trump blames the people of Iran for anything that goes wrong after the initial bombing.

“I did my job, but a lot of stupid people made a lot of mistakes after we did our job, and we did a great job,” and so forth.

I expected to see full-throated condemnations from every Democrat in Congress reposted into my feed. Since I’m not seeing that yet, I can only assume they’re still dutifully working on them.

Can't wait to be surprised when 85 million Americans don't remember this in a decade.

The morally bankrupt Trump administration has partnered with another morally bankrupt authoritarian to declare an unprovoked war on Iran, already killing scores of civilians.

We need an immediate vote from Congress on a War Powers Resolution. Then articles of impeachment.

The lies about Trump's approach to war and foreign policy were ubiquitous. Just a few.

I'm already sick of "It's all a distraction from Epstein" replies. This regime is killing innocent people because our leaders are all power-hungry tyrants and war profiteers. When you say it's "just a distraction" you minimize the gravity of what's happening and the lives lost.

Hate to lib out here, but even if there was some sort of clear, strategic goal, this would still be highly illegal and the president should be impeached and removed from office immediately.

Of course, justices would likely retire during the previous term of their own party, if not confident in the next election’s outcome, to avoid flipping power, which would also be preferable to them sticking around for 4 decades before strategically retiring.

SCOTUS term limits would also take the guesswork out of things. If this were in place just for the current crop, Thomas, Roberts, and Alito would be gone, replaced by Democratic presidents for a 6-3 advantage. And then Trump would get to replace Sotomayor and Kagan in the next few years.

We miraculously got through December and January without incident, and then February has been four back-to-back-etc illnesses.

I have a few hours of optimism per week, during which I foolishly think "surely I have now caught all the viruses."

Oh yeah, it's maddening to try and figure it all out. "Did I get the cold he had last week but it just took 6 days or did I somehow get a new cold from him that he did not get or did I somehow catch this on my own despite working from home?"

Part of having a toddler and getting sick all the time is that, after every illness, I feel invincible and am convinced I'll never get sick again, until we all get sick the following week.
