“How are you?” seems like such a simple question… unless you’re autistic

Because then you’re thinking:
- Do you mean in general? Or just today?
- Compared to yesterday? Last week?
- How much detail to give?
- How honest to be?
- Are you asking about my mood, health, work, family, social… all of it?

There can be a LOT to think about and not even enough time to do that part before answering

Many of us (myself included) have learned the usual generic scripts to get through this question

But sometimes, I don’t want to mask

I want to be honest
I want to be seen
I want to connect

I did Stitch dressed as Elvis playing the guitar and Lilo dancing to the music because I loved the part of the Lilo and Stitch film where Stitch dresses as Elvis and plays the guitar.

I did The Penguins of Madagascar in this with Rico throwing balls from his mouth and Private juggling the balls. I don't think it was in the TV series or in the film. But it was something original.

I drew Daffy Duck plummeting falling down because it's all I could think for today's theme.

I did Snoopy and Woodstock again as not only because I love Snoopy and Peanuts cartoons, also because in the film Race for your life Charlie Brown, Woodstock was the only one who managed to defeat the bullies in the boat race and won the race.

I did the Goodfeathers from Animaniacs because Pesto, one of the Goodfeatherss Pigeons has a very bad temper and it looks like Squit and Bobby has angered Pesto.

Dick Dastardly and Muttley trying to catch the pigeon was the best idea for today's theme since they're always trying to catch the pigeon but they fail miserably!

For today's theme, I did Walter Wolf slipping on a banana peel. Slappy Squirrel and Skippy Squirrel are very amused by this as probably both Slappy and Skippy decided to get revenge on Walter Wolf.
