This was one of my more favoured parts of DF's world-building, and! It opens up possibilities of further stories for characters who have connections to elemental powers - it would be grounding (pun intended) in a sea of 'cosmic forces' to have the Lords/elements to intrinsically tied to Azeroth. 🤔✨

I cannot describe how fucking happy it makes me seeing journalists just pointing out that they're lying. Once again, if you're calling, bringing up these articles as why you're calling is a VERY good idea.

The image is of Anduin and Wrathion from World of Warcraft. It's a commission done by @galacticjonah for @ClaretAsh. The piece is based on Frank Dicksee's work 'La Belle Dame sans Merci' which is based on John Keats’ poem of the same name. In Juno's art, Anduin bares no seductive temptation and destructive will towards Wrathion (...mostly, but only the fun kind [WINK]) - the piece has a warm, loving glow about it, as the pair of men are depicted in a beautiful field. Anduin sits upon Reverence, his white horse, and leans down towards Wrathion. He places a gentle hand upon his chest, highlighting the fact that Wrathion wears a necklace with a blue gem, and Anduin wears Wrathion's usual star ruby necklace. Wrathion gently cradles Anduin's wrist as he walks alongside horse and rider - a gentle smile on his face as he looks up at Anduin. They both wear more casual, yet elegant, outfits and the piece has the same ethereal beauty as the original.

The piece is based on The Temptation of Sir Percival by Arthur Hacker, which illustrates a scene from Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur, in which Percival is tempted by a devil in the form of a beautiful woman. In Juno's art, Wrathion bares no seductive temptation and destructive will towards Anduin (...mostly, but only the fun kind [WINK]) - the piece has a warm, loving glow about it, as the pair of men are depicted in a beautiful field.... hey, this is the SECOND time I'm asked Juno to illustrate this for me, HUH! 😆💖✨ Anduin sits the the right side of the piece, chalice in hand, with Wrathion's ruby pendant in the other - a small, knowing smile on his lips. Besides him sits Shalamayne with foliage propping it up, and Anduin's armour shines under the warm glow of the sun. Wrathion is to the right hand side of the piece, and lies on his stomach facing Anduin. He props his head up with one hand, with a charming smile on his face. His elegant black and burgundy robe has fell slightly open, showing his chest and the sapphire pendant, that shine's brightly with the blue associated with Anduin. His draconic wings are showing, as is his dragon-esque tail and horns, as well as a pattern of scales over his skin. The Temptation of Anduin Wrynn, hm?

I found him in the shining of the stars, I marked him in the flowering of his fields. 🌾🍷
