Lmao! I've definitely done something similar before working my job. Got no damn sleep and had to pull a 14 hour shift on the flight line. Queue 5 of the large monster energy cans and a hope that my heart doesn't explode

Time to down a gallon of coffee

Last night was the first night in almost a month that I got more sleep than 2-3 hours... I feel so groggy right now. I'm just more exhausted than I have been feeling when I wasn't getting much sleep, and with one killer migraine to boot.

I need your guy's help with something... If you recall, last night I was working on a song and I finished it before laying down. I don't know what to name it though!!! Does anyone have any nice name suggestions? Also, I hope you guys enjoy this too!

Anyways, I hope you enjoy that! Like I said, it's another passion project of mine and if it's something that you are all interested in, I might release the campaign whenever I finish it in however many months/years time lol.

A chant can be heard, growing louder and louder, almost deafening. Suddenly, the monastery doors creak open and the chanting stops. Silence descends onto you. The large rotted doors exposing a chilling darkness within. Do you take the leap of faith and enter into what you believe is hope? A future?

The sensation stops and the cold takes hold of you again. There's no sound, no wind, no birds, not even those bloodsucking insects that followed you here. The only thing you hear is the sound of your beating heart and labored breathing. Then, there's another sound, a rhythmic thumping from inside.

Even so, you feel a strange energy. It calls to you. A feeling of hope? That can't be right. Unsure of what it might be, you go against your better judgement and follow this feeling. A sensation of warmth gets stronger as you draw nearer the source. Eventually you stumble upon a crumbled monastery.

Even then, are they up for the task? Besides, what's bravery if not stupidity? Heroes don't exist, they are just stuff of legends. After decades of suffering, all that's left is degeneracy. Immoral folk who don't know a land with law. Nihilistic fools who don't remember the time from before.

So, with the world plunged into darkness, contaminated water, food shortages, and an incurable blight spreading across the lands, how will our brave adventures save the world? That's the neat part, they probably won't! The idea is that all hope is lost but there's a small chance that it can be saved

The process is long and painful. Typically treatable if caught early on, but after a week of no treatment, you will succumb to the fungus. But what happens when you perish? Easy, your body rots and is simply food for the fungal infection. But I'll say that a type of myconid is a thing in this too.

A week after infection, you start to feel more lethargic, sapped of energy. After a few weeks, the mycelial network becomes visible underneath the skin and lesions begin to form exposing a mixture of fungus & flesh below. This will persist for a very long time, months & for some unlucky souls, years

To add more on this, no this isn't some Last Of Us rip off. Let me explain... While there may be some inspiration, it works differently and it doesn't make the "zombies" that you see. It starts with spores entering your body in some way. They begin to take root and spread throughout your body.

Basically, the world has been thrust into the end times. Permanent eclipse, droughts, food shortages, disease, and most importantly, what the story surrounds, the fungal blight. The fungus cannot survive direct sunlight and will die, so with some magic fuckery, the moon is placed in front of the sun

There's not going to be any spoilers for this because some of my friends who will participate when I finally make this do follow me here. The premise of it is the apocalypse. Not before, not after, but during it. It's kind of a slow burn type thing if you understand that. All hope is lost

Another random project of mine story time!!! So, for the last year, I've been slowly working on a little something... Or rather big and ambitious something! I've been writing (or trying) a fully fleshed DND campaign with a really interesting (in my opinion) story to it!

Here's a good use of my uber depresso time. It's actually sounding really nice so far for being as simple as it is... A few tweaks here and there and I think it could be something! Crazy how some of my best music comes from when I'm not doing well mentally. Pays having different art outlets I guess!

Here I am, sitting at my computer depressed as all hell trying to figure out what to draw for a personal project... Well... Here's this I guess? Started with an Avali and ended with a fish??? How I got here, I don't not know... Certainly an art of all time though
