The purpose of this meeting is to provide information to parents regarding a proposal to modify the current King City Secondary School and Richmond Green Secondary School boundaries to create a boundary for the new Dr. Bette Stephenson Secondary School, effective September 2027.

February is Black History Month! Black History Month is an opportunity to celebrate the rich heritage and immense contributions of Black Canadians to our country's economic, social, political and cultural fabric.

As a society, we must remain committed to addressing and eliminating Islamophobia and all forms of hate and take the necessary actions to stop such atrocities from taking place ever again.

January 29 is the National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action Against Islamophobia, a day to honour all those who were targeted in this attack.

Today, we recognize the International Day of Education and give thanks that we live in a country where children’s rights to an education are upheld. Education is a human right, a public good and a public responsibility.

Today is the World Day for African and Afrodescendant Culture. We take this opportunity to celebrate the rich and vibrant cultures, heritages and achievements of Africans and African diasporas across Canada.

He embodied his philosophy that it is not one's duty to be average. It is one's duty to set a higher example for others to follow.
