I think it’s basically:

- emotional honesty & vulnerability

- neurodivergent and/or queer

- intentional corniness/ability to respect & embrace the “basic” or “cringe” aspects of their work & use them to enhance the message they want to send or as a vehicle for the more intimate and unique aspects
