I disagree. Think about the fact that Yoda just ignores Anakin’s fear of loss and basically tells him to get over it. Or OWK not telling Anakin he was loved until mustafar. Its absence is the hubris.

This is what the Jedi really got wrong in the prequels, and I hope that future Star Wars movies (looking at you Rey movie!) explore the ideas of feeling emotions more deeply.
