One thing that's always been odd to me, is the lack of PR within the Cosplay community.

I see the sporadic kotaku listicle pass by (here's 10 cosplays spotted at [event]), but there's very few costume breakdowns or press in general.

Opinions? I have some assumptions, but curious to what u think!

If you want an easy icebreaker when approaching a Cosplayer, consider getting a little charm for your camera, or a hotshoe cover.

If it's relevant to the costumes you want to photograph, draw their attention to it.
