When a company purposes its existence in denying people’s humanity in their time of need (for no other motive than $) we can’t be surprised when people in turn deny the humanity of those who profit/from that company. Is it morally perfect? No. But not surprising.

Everyone is anti-medicine/science until they are the ones that need help. Ex: the Covid deniers/antivaxxers who would show up at EDs gasping for air and begging for help. Same will go for surgery.

Absolutely. But sometimes you can ask a general ENT for help too! When I was doing thyroids/parotids, I didn’t have any qualified assist. I started doing those cases with a partner and everything got a million percent easier.

I’ve been training to become a coach, and I’d like to focus on physicians/surgeons as well as gifted adults. I want to address how we are taught to function as surgeons and how that can hurt a lot of us, and topics we don’t speak of like anxiety in surgery. Please like/comment if this speaks to you.
