Giving this site another try. What’s current best practice for the custom algo stuff? Is that still a thing? Any other ways I can make my feed better?

Sure, especially because it’s concentrated around peak times. I also think the idea is to fund the MTA more with the money, and the combination of stick (congestion tax) and carrot (better funded subway) will reduce the demand for cars more than either on their own.

I don’t have much to say about it but: I wasn’t prepared to suddenly love bluegrass so much, Johnny Cash is a staple but “I’ve Been Everywhere” is lpart of a multi-year plan to crush it at karaoke, and Eminem surprised me (a lot).

I think it’s heartless to let distaste for private health insurance make you feel unsympathetic to a guy getting murdered. He used to run their Medicare and retirement divisions and recently pivoted towards preventative care. It seemed like he was a perfectly OK guy, just in the healthcare business.

I had this thought too, but I think two things: 1. this is from the neck up (he’s in considerably better shape) and 2. his goal is to age more slowly — I’m interested to see how he looks in 10, 20, 30+ years

This is a delicate question, but are you equally as proud of IE4 as IE6? I think the general consensus is that IE4 was groundbreaking, but was there more under the hood for IE6 that you think was underappreciated?
