The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child states:
“A child has the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment.” If climate change is not mitigated, that right is at risk.
Not by accident, but through decisions, priorities, and what is left undone. Who pays the price for delay?

The colours break and re-form, and stillness becomes motion. Freedom is not a place to reach. It is the edge we finally dare to feel. (2/2)

Laughter often seems light and genuine, yet behind it can linger shame, insecurity, and pain. Shame is clever, it can make us hide our smile, even though it's one of the most beautiful and authentic parts of us.

We can argue when we past 1.5C in the IPCC terms, but the fact is heat is on, and we are on our way to 2C or more of warming. In the best scenarios 1.5C and 2C would be for brief "overshoot" periods, but it is a gamble...

Research is the foundation of freedom. Without open science, we cannot understand societal issues, find solutions, or build a more sustainable future. When decision-making is based on censored or restricted information, it no longer serves the public it only serves those who want to prevent change.

Watching the program Nazitown, USA on Finnish TV. The people featured in the program use very familiar expressions and opinions, like claiming a group of people lazy, "America First," and holding ecstatic mass gatherings where these ideas were repeated. How is it possible that we are here again?

Today marks the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is a moment to reflect on the importance of human rights and tolerance in today's world. This day emphasizes the need to maintain awareness of history to prevent similar tragedies from happening again.

The key question for us is how to advance sustainable development and collaboration in a way that minimizes resistance and ensures the pendulum swings in the right direction. (3/3)
