Sure. But a community of allotment holders rather than something broader?

They deffo aren't communal. The allotments local to me have differentiated plots between their respective holders.

Oh let me guess. If these govts are anything like the Irish govt every Irish DFA advisory has a standard warning about crime for every country.

Which they are then taking out of context.

Every building around 64 Victoria Street has been redeveloped. I bet Land Securities would be delighted to get vacant possession of the building.

That sounds highly likely.

The RMT is making a lot of noise - that is its job- representing its members. I am not sure it is adding much light to this though.

A question to ask is why on earth was a CSA job on a skilled immigration list?

I'm sorry, how have I NEVER heard of this website before? This is incredible. You can view basically every train's location in the country?

CSA roles require GCSEs and customer service people.skills. They should not have been classified as highly skilled for migration purposes. Liberal left blue sky getting very angry over something which they dont seem to understand. You dont need an MSc to be a CSA.

06.08.2025 11:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Have you actually read the story?

06.08.2025 11:15 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Except they are not. They story seems to say that customer service assistant roles were classified as skilled for immigration purposes. Bunch of MSc graduates with two year visa took said roles. CSA roles have (correctly in my view) been declassified.

It would be interesting to see what the characteristics of said companies are?

You have also got the National Allotment Society which doesnt seem to have an issue. Who is likely to be more aware - NAS or Corbyn?

There are eight allotment sites in scope. Assuming they are all fully.used (unlikely or they wouldn't be up for disposal) and assuming 50 plots per site that's 400 people

When I use the word 'site' that relates to a group of allotment plots.

Remember that any disposal will be (1/2)

06.08.2025 11:05 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

...which will have been through a process? There are 330,000 allotment plots in England. If we say 50 plots per site that means 6,600 sites.

So 0.1pc of sites?

If nuclear had actually started when Clegg made that line then guess what - we would have had it in 2022.

The LibDems made a point of not increasing fees in the 2010 election. They could have stuck to that. The Tories did not have a.majority.

What happened to energy prices in 2022?

Where Schengen in the UK would have a big positive impact is Eurostar (and competing rail services when they arrive). Much shorter dwell times at departing stations.
