New Spinolution Echo with 8oz bobbins

I got a new baby today and I love them so much! I’m going to get so much spinning done!

I took a break from my leg days this week to help my hamstring recover and I replaced it with accessory exercises and it’s been so nice to be able to move legs for a week. I’m gonna be sad to hit my legs again Monday (even though I also miss it)

Ugh tragedy has struck. My knitting for olive cotton merino I’ve been using for a summer Polo is actually just Merino. I should’ve checked the ball band last year when I ordered it instead of assuming they mailed me the right yarn. Anyway the back shoulder seam is looking so good!! #knitsky

Grace in RE9 started off kind of annoying but she got so much better so fast. I’m really enjoying this game. Can’t wait to play more!

Happy 2 year Gymiversary to me! I never would've thought I would consistently be going to the gym 5 days a week but here we are 2 years later and I've only missed a week when I had Covid! I have so much to go but I've come such a long way! Down 50lbs since I started and couldn't be happier!

Second finish of the year and my first pair of socks from hand spun. The fiber is targhee dyed by Kim Dyes Yarn that I picked up last year’s MDSW. Pattern is my own vanilla socks. The three singles were plied during stream (but of course I don’t have a photo of the finished yarn). Still love them!

Almost resident evil time and I had a good workout today, really connected with my back

I’m almost done listening to The Butchers Masquerade (the 5th Dungeon Crawler Carl book) and I’m OBSESSED I can’t get enough. It’s just twist after twist. So many emotions. I can’t handle it but it’s also all I can think about. It might be a good weekend to binge and warp my loom finally

Here’s some updates on my current primary WIPs, my Yume polo is finally joined in the round and I’m obsessed with the collar even if it was a nightmare to knit. And my Sailor Moon scarf is getting 6 rows a day done and making good progress!

Update: it was super nice to have a pain free leg day

I was so exhausted today that my upper day took almost 3 hrs lmao but had a good pump

Benched with the 70lb dumbbells today for the first time but accidentally made a fart sound with my mouth so now the employees think I was gassy

I also spent way too much time in the bottom position of the pendulum squat because it felt better than standing oops lmao

Attempted Deadlifts today for the first time since April and I don’t remember what I’m doing and now I’m in pain but at least my glutes were engaged the entire workout

I got a super painful shot in my foot yesterday to help with my plantar fasciitis that’s been bugging me for over a year. Once the soreness goes away my leg days are gonna be so much better and my leggies are gonna hate me for it
