Son wanted to be Kelthuzad for his schools costume parade. 2 weeks of cosplay crunch later and I managed to complete enough of a costume for him to wear! The top is my design originally prototyped in 2022 and added to with each iteration. The bottom is another cosplayers version from a year ago.
I'm flattered they liked my design but wished they'd credited a fellow artist for the inspiration - part of the hobby is being recognised by peers. 🙂

Entered my first cosplay competition and ended up winning. I haven't been to a con in a long time and I forgot how nice the vibe is. 😊

I took my deathknight cosplay outside for a bit to test it's flex/mobility and so far so good, no breaks or tears. 🤞I was a little disappointed that direct sunlight drowns out the LEDs but it did give the graphite powder on the armour a decent shine. 🙂 #cosplay #deathknight #worldofwarcraft

Outside some weathering and strategic Velcro dot placements on the tabard, this cosplay is now finished and ready for a competition next week!

I took a few artistic liberties with his armour design vs a pure dreadnought tier 3 copy but lucky for me his character has had many redesigns over time. 🙂

Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have a system in place to detail my progress on my projects but it's something I'll be considering going forward. I'd love to do art streams/vods of my props from start to finish, I just need the time and money to invest in learning how streamers make it all happen. 🙂

Every reply is $$ to them. It's not the original "don't feed the trolls" mantra where all they could get is a rise out of you for enjoyment. They have a business model that relies on your participation, and whatever the comment you make is rewarding them. Please consider that going forward.

I am moving away from a similar mindset to yours because of how monetised engagement and "rage baiting" things are nowadays. That's why so many of these "own the libs" types are trying to migrate here - they NEED the engagement, the bickering etc. Don't give it to them, let them yell at a wall.
