If it doesn't go well, and cause I am no sociologist, I'd say...It was just not meant to be.
Some relationships just grow cold and that's it, but that's as natural as breathing imo.
It has happened to me and maybe one sometimes thinks the bond was deeper than it really was.

Real friendship is when you message them after years of not talking to each other cause life happens, and there's no resentment, hatred or disappointment anywhere.
