The Netherlands #Eurovision broadcaster AVROTROS have said they will not take part in the 2026 song contest in Vienna if Israel are involved.

It comes after RTÉ in Ireland said yesterday they will not go to Eurovision next year if Israel remain in the contest.

It comes after RTÉ in Ireland said yesterday they will not go to Eurovision next year if Israel remain in the contest.

Now RTÉ have made this pledge we await further developments from other competing broadcasters in the weeks and months ahead - the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest may have some turbulent times ahead of it

As EBU members RTÉ or other broadcasters can withdraw from #Eurovision any year. Past reasons include finances, lack of interest or politics eg Russia didn’t compete in Ukraine 2017.
