I would absolutely see that movie.

I 100% agree with the sentiment, genius can absolutely come from all places high and low.
But to call thinking you do not like "violence" is an absurd and dangerous idea that minimizes and normalizes actual violence.
God I hope so, we need this.

So fun!
Is this a particular "style" or inspired by one?
Would be a great backdrop for a wine mixer...

Loved the novel!
I still have yet to have ANY of the parents in my life ask me to dress up as Krampus for Krampusnacht, despite my repeated offers...
Great shot!

Home made wooden guitar pick from smilax root
Made these with a buddy today, from smilax roots I dug up a few years ago and dried. One toothpick holder for the charcuterie board and my attempt at a Bluechip guitar pick, they work great!

14.11.2025 14:51 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Curious about this, I've got 20 or so nieces/nephews/cousins coming of playing age and I'm trying to figure the most fun way to introduce the instrument. Open tuning acoustic has worked well for real young kids 5-7, modeling pedal and a 3/4 electric for about the ~10-11 crowd, what did you go with?

05.11.2025 19:34 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I think about this a lot. I think it had to do with the absence of copyright until the 90s, when artists individually couldn't profit from their music, but the riddim culture created a hyper-productive musical culture. Post 90s the productivity has (IMHO) stagnated in the current post-dancehall era

My industry info is getting some age on it, but most of the cost of a particular garment is in the fabric and labor, tho not 1-1, the difference in the amount of time/materials is often negligible from a small to a large.
But in some styles a 3xl may have 4-5x the material of a small.
The larger the garment, the more material it requires, the longer it takes to stitch, and each size may require additional tooling depending on how it's manufactured.
There's a reason fast fashion brands often sell 3 sizes and nothing else.
Again, apologies, I momentarily forgot that I am not to interact with posts online. I shall remember my place.

29.10.2025 17:46 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 1I don't have a dog in this race, but if you punish brands for charging more for sizes that cost more to make because they take more material, they'll just stop offering the larger size...
