There is a difference. One is permanent and ex pat temporary. However, I do refer to myself as an immigrant to Abu Dhabi as it does seem white people use term ex pat even when here for over 20 yrs I’ve been here 4, so not sure which category I actually am ?

This performance was great timing for queen. They were losing fans as they had played sun city year before during apartheid. I struggle to like them because of this. Preferred u2 on the day. All about opinions I guess

Loved first two episodes on live aid on bbc2. Great to see everyone leave their phones in their pockets and enjoy the moment, unlike Glastonbury 🤔

Been to Greece many times and have two Greek kids in my form, so really tried to learn on Duolingo. The different alphabet kills me. But I can still blag French front gcse in 1986. 😂
