have always felt this was the tendency of Maga - their humor is that they laugh AT people, not WITH people. Mean-spirited is the status quo.

well, i think - if one thinks it through - it comes down to the rising tide of wealth inequality. Within those parameters, white privilege still exists. as I'm sure it does probably for the wealthy. That we want more and deserve more, almost all of us, doesn't make the uneven playing field go away.
