Now they don't even bother to put a like or reblog on it. They keep that art in its little box and fewer people get to see it. Artists find it harder to connect too, because nobody is sharing the work, so they don't know other artists exist doing the same thing. People need to be way less precious.

Now struggle to tell the difference. Even process videos are being faked now. That said, I noticed it even in the high use of DeviantArt days (mid 2000's), people slapping a fav on your work and saying nothing. Many artists were annoyed by that. TELL us what you liked, we'll make more! 😂 +

I wonder how much of this stems from AI art fatigue. Social media is saturated with AI slop images, some of which can look very convincingly real at first glance. Many artists, including myself, have been accused of using AI when a piece has been created entirely by hand. So it's clear people +

If I have time, I might film the inking/painting of this one. But for now here's the pencil work on papyrus.

I ran out of red pencil leads! (I wish I had known you can only buy these ones overseas) I still managed to get most of the sketch done, enough that I can transfer it to digital to swap Ra and Thoth around. Also give the poor guy back his sun disk. Then we have a working ref for the papyrus.
