All while Russ Vought uses USAID funds for his security. These are crimes, and the criminal administration needs to face justice!

If it’s not one thing, it’s another. While the Goddard Library is being dismantled, OMB is also not giving allocated money to NASA, NIH, or NSF (at least). NASA Science Mission Directorate has been instructed to not spend 2026 appropriated funds for a number of projects.

Instead, the agency relied on voluntary retirements with severance for civil servants. Official RIFs have strict rules and bring the kind of bad publicity leadership wants to avoid.

The NY Times and other news outlets reported that GSFC decreased its workforce by 11%.

This figure is misleading; the actual reduction was significantly higher. Here are at least two reasons why:

The administration does respond to pressure. They don’t make big moves but the pressure put on by our accounts and similar movements have stopped or altered their actions.

Absolute atrocities are happening. We all said “those were things in the past, we’d never do that again” to Japanese internment, human experiments (Tuskegee, agent orange), and more, yet this administration is executing equally horrific programs today.
