If you’re a biomechanist planning to submit a paper these days, keep in mind that many reviewers will be busy attending the XXX Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics!
The time has come! Just a few days until our congress in Stockholm!

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

I’m not usually shy—some even call me a social extrovert in the lab !
But recruiting outside clinics or campus? Suddenly shy.
Maybe I’m afraid of bothering people?

Researchers, do you feel the same ?
Any tips or experience for making out-of-context recruitment feel less awkward ?

Thanks you for sharing your ressources. I will have a look at it. (And I am waiting for the video)

Hi, would you kindly accept to send me your presentation ? The topic seems interesting and might help me on some reflexion on the subject. I am member of a board in a local french society. If you have the video of your talk would be even better !
Thanks !

Excited to share our latest work with an amazing team! We took the challenge of consolidating reference data for 3D shoulder girdle kinematics. But we quickly realized a bigger problem: existing datasets are often inconsistent...

S'il doit y avoir un vote. Par pitié. Vraiment.

1/5) 🫤 I'm 100% not with you on this.

Sorry, @ecologistgreen.bsky.social, but IMO this editorial is totally off the mark.

What does peer review accomplish? Does it make science more trustworthy and credible? Nope. Let's get real for a moment...

The main benefit of these is that we can study ground stiffness perturbations on a fully instrumented treadmill, as well as conduct experiments overground. I'm hoping to share results from a study investigating adaptation to a stiffness perturbation applied by these shoes very soon!

Similar to Pierre, except from looking from Phd/Postdoc, i did not spend much time on it. I mainly heard story from our experienced researcher about passionate debate on it.
On the why,.. I suppose i was never very fond of forum, even if the content would have interested me. Any suggestions ?
