20 years ago, I was clamouring to move to the US for grad school. I had dreams of living in California.
The opportunities the US presented to me helped me live out my dreams, & meet my husband along with many incredible friends. But as I shift into my motherhood era, long gone is that clamouring.
Damn, has Google changed in 10 years.

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.
I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.
But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

Hundreds of USAID employees have been fired or furloughed, and foreign aid operations were suspended after Trump issued a freeze on aid. The agency’s public affairs team has also been placed on leave and locked out of their systems.
