I am not at all unhappy. This is all part of my design process.
While losing an ePaper display may be upsetting to a personal maker, I am typically making 100-500 of a thing so a broken display during prototyping and design is negligible.

Next in my “resistance” series of coins is the Cherokee tale of the two wolves.

tl:dr; how a case goes together is important

A snap-fit PCB case design called for display alignment rails. The rails are on the long sides.

The PCB snapped in from the sides.

The result was a "somewhat" fidgety assembly.

Switching the snap-fit to top:bottom was much less fidgety 🤔

I made a mistake!

I guess this new social media game is slightly better than if the goal was to “change one letter”

I've had the HP for at least a dozen years and it's been flawless on windows. The rolo for 6 years and also plug and play on windows. It is what it is. I'll live.

I am very happy with the Mac for all things but printing. For whatever reasons, it refuses to print on 3x5 cards with my HP printer as well as 4x6 labels from a Rolo thermal printer. Apple Blaine the printer manufacturers and the printer manufacturers bosom Apple.

I'm the evil stepchild- I use Mac and remote into Windows machines while also running Linux VMs.

"Packed Structs" are one of the compiler parlor tricks which really help with code readability!

Still without power so it's time for the next tier of techno-hacking!
