"One Dupe Down" In this art piece, my character, Galaxy Cometfire, the one on the right, is standing there tensed up, [bl33d1ng] from multiple areas, while her Starcure selected father, (it's complicated and I'll explain it if asked to) Half'Soul (Black side showing) is on his knees, holding what he thinks to be his daughter that he killed, weeping bitterly, when in reality, he killed a duplicate. An illusion. He didn't mean for it to end this way, when really, it hasn't. His daughter remains alive, now unsure whether she should deliver the final blow. Half'Soul has no idea just how much power his daughter holds in this moment. This is supposed to capture a fleeting moment of hesitation before a final killing blow.. Or so Galaxy thinks. (Note from Ari: I can't wait to get to writing this point in the book fjsfhsk but I'm not even CLOSE!! She has so much lore!! Also pretend HS is injured bc I forgot to draw that detail lmao)
