Today marks the 6th year since the passing of Alex Chow Tsz-lok.

A lot has changed since his passing, but may he rest in peace knowing that his memory and his struggle lives on.

One of the aspects of the repression in Hong Kong is the criminalisation of mourning.

I think of Hong Kong's political prisoners often -- and am sure others do too. On hot summer days, I worry that they are baking in their cells. On cold winter days, I worry that they feel like they'll freezing. And this past October 1st, I realised Jimmy Lai (77) is older than the PRC (76). Etc.😔

Don’t usually have a problem with “anti-government” but it could be misleading here. We don’t have to wonder what drove the protests — they had 5 clear demands.

You could say HK’s housing is symptomatic of the system they opposed but this is just a wire piece. “Pro-democracy” might’ve been clearer.
