I use pink a lot in my sketchbook but this time I just went for red, both give me the best results. It depends what are your main colors, for example pink makes all the blues a bit purple

For yesterday's floral piece, I scanned it at half progress to test colors for the background in Procreate. That's what it looks like at half progress with the red underpainting 🎨

Thank you Jessie! I used a red underpainting for this one, so the lighter areas are painted with white. I don't think we can see it clearly because I ended up covering most of the red
