A couple of questions for you, say you have Brecon,Bridgwater, Cardiff, Portsmouth and Swansea, it doesn't say which ones Old course or "New" courses ? Aust, Llansteffan, Tenby(south sands) and Weston Super Mare are all beach courses.

If its Bangor you mean, remember the pic was taken from a aeroplane.

Haha, that's the point though, it doesn't matter really, it's about taking part. There is a participant that's been with me since the start, he just slings answers every week hoping to hit and he has a few times over six years that I've been doing it, he just loves the old pics.

No problem Jim, it's always nice to hear, when someone enjoys the quiz. Honestly though it's not so much about the quiz as such but about showing people the old tracks. I could just do the internet thing and show people all pics at once or do it the old way and make it something to look forward too

I also posted an overlay of where Pant y cendy is slighty north of it is also, Dan Allt y Gog Farm.

I convinced the new course of 1929 was the righthanded one as you look at it on the map I posted, as the article says, its on the Llandilofawr road which is to the right of the the right handed course shown. The clipping below from 1921 shows they raced at Pant y cendy and they also did previously

Here is a case in point. I don't know if you have this one, it's the first course(flat) at Pant y cendy Carmarthen I believe(Left). Not completely sure of the dates but there were meetings from 1801 up to about the late 1820's, after that they moved nearer the town (on the right).

It depends how you have filed them. If you have them in a excel spreadsheet or similar, then a copy and paste of the track names should do it. If not, like you said, it would mean painstakingly going through each page of your books and listing them.

No that's ok, it was just an idea when you mentioned supplement, I thought you may just have a list of the track maps you published not the actual maps. we probably have most of the same anyway.
