The United States has gone to war against Iran.

Iran is not presenting immediate danger to the United States or Israel. Even Trump, in a recorded address, didn’t bother overly much with such excuses; instead he presented a farrago of charges & accusations going back a half century.

Trump didn't consult Congress & he has yet to explain effectively to the American people why he started this war.

Is it regime change, eliminating nuclear weapons (thought they were obliterated) & there are no imminent threats.

Do you mean the Shah of Iran's son? His father was installed by the US and the UK and was an extremely polarizing figure. He did advance a few good things for the country but he was a very corrupt, brutal autocratic dictator.
