Let me explain why I think this conference is important, and you should send us your best papers.
First, Infra4dev is THE conference on infrastructure and development where frontier research can get to talk to both policymakers, MDBs, and private sector folks.
In this new substack post I sketch how humanity slowly came to the realization that our future energy system will mainly run on solar and wind, and why this energy system will be using local semi-autonomous units we call holons.

"More solar leads to more coal in China."
This is true in the short term, but even then the effect is much less emissions.
Long term we will produce solar with solar and the effect is no emissions.
I suspect this hand wringing is often by people who can't see the forest for the trees.
