I made it to Blue Rank in Tekken 8. I am so emotional right now. Like I worked so hard to master Lili, and the proof is just right there on screen.

God, I love this game, even with its flaws. Best fighting game of the generation, pound for pound. Near impossible to go to old Tekken now.

The thing that makes it 9/10 and not 10/10 is the D-Pad. Xbox One's D-Pad was perfection personified for fighting games, but there's just something about the Xbox Series controller where the D-Pad being shaped in a circle means the directions don't sway as much for circular motions.

Damn, the one time Nintendo eShop actually benefits me. Pre-ordered a game for $60 as opposed to its $70 price tag on other platforms. Nintendo really does do what the rest don't.

(I'm aware the game would be 30FPS. That is a literal small price to pay.)

Hot Take: MK Legacy Collection having a lost WaveNet version of UMK3 that was essentially lost media is way more important than having MK Gold/Shaolin Monks/3D Era games that you can emulate and find with little to no effort.
