Barry Hawkins' walk on song is not really my personal taste in music, but he's been using that one for years now, and when I hear it, it let me instantly think of him, so I kinda like it now.

#147sf

WPBSA SnookerScores - 2025/26 Q Tour - Event Seven - Live Scores Welcome to WPBSA SnookerScores - The official tournament management system of the WPBSA Group, where you can view the latest information from snooker tournaments staged around the world.

Ashley Hugill and Alfie Davies have already earned enough points to reach the Global Play-offs.

Nattanapong Chaikul and Ant Parsons can qualify for the playoffs by winning the event.

So I hope we won't see an anticlimactic Hugill-Davies final.

Send HELP!

I've just opened the live scoring page of the EBSA European Championship U-16 and apparently it's not 1993 anymore. 😱

Wollen wir tauschen? Ich score lieber ein Spiel, das mir wumpe ist, als mich nachher am Riemen reißen zu müssen, wenn es um was geht.

BARRY! πŸ˜€

Still (at least) one of my favs in at semi final stage. I've always liked the Welsh Open. 😁

And that was a quite enjoyable match as well. Great fight from Barry who saved his scoring boots for the last frame.

Meine dritte ErkΓ€ltung in diesem Winter... πŸ™„

As I see both Barry Hawkins and Jiang Jun won earlier today. 😊 I hope this stays a good day of snooker for me.

Screenshot of Eurosport's pre-match interview with Zhou Yuelong. An info graphic in the corner says he's played 45 matches so far, had a win rate of 67% and an average shot time of 29.6.

Being a bit too much of a fan of a certain player makes you spot the smallest of errors creeping in, like Eurosport adding an average shot time for Zhou Yuelong that was a bit too high to be plausible. πŸ˜…

Zhou Yuelong is having a great season on the Home Nations Series!

Runner-up in Brentwood, semi-finalist in Belfast, quarter-finalist in Edinburgh. He's now through to the last 16 in Llandudno after defeating Masters champion Kyren Wilson, 4-1.

Okay. Hab ja kΓΌrzlich erst ein Match von Dylan Emery gesehen, in dem er alles andere als gut gespielt hat, insofern fand ich es schon verwunderlich, dass er es hier ΓΌberhaupt so weit geschafft hatte.

I don't want to speculate on the mental health of specific players. One shouldn't do this.
But it's also true that players don't owe the public to be open about their struggles. Maybe just act kind in case?

And I think kindness isn't wasted on someone who's well off mentally.

25.02.2026 15:52 β€” πŸ‘ 7    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Recently the Ronnie O'Sullivan Mark Selby mental health talk made rounds again. Alan McManus was part of that conversation.

Maybe it's a good rule of thumb in general trying not to pile on players too much and avoid getting too personal like "xy lacks dedication". Stay fair.

Decent performance from Zhou Yuelong against an opponent that could've been dangerous (but wasn't).

Not quite Chang Bingyuesc, but what is? πŸ˜‚

It was a break of 8 and a single potted red. I don't remember the 8, but I believe the red was a shot to nothing and he layed a snooker behind a baulk colour afterwards.

But I think he played one or two safeties in the match that could've been tighter. Still room to improve. πŸ˜‚
